Off Season is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives by advancing holistic youth development, community wellness, and economic opportunity through sports.

 

Serving Pittsylvania County, Danville, and the greater Southside Virginia region since 2023, Off Season provides premier sports training, athlete development, nutrition services, education, mentorship, recruitment programs, and community sports camps designed to help young people succeed in life. 

 

The organization works to create pathways for youth in rural and urban environments to succeed athletically, academically, professionally, and personally while strengthening the region through strategic partnerships, leadership, and economic development initiatives.

As the organization has grown, Off Season has expanded its mission beyond youth programming to become a catalyst for regional development through sports, wellness, and tourism. The organization’s flagship initiative, the Off Season Sports Complex, is a transformational project aimed at creating a year-round destination for athletics, recreation, community engagement, and sports tourism in Southside Virginia.

Through collaboration with schools, businesses, local governments, philanthropic partners, and community leaders, Off Season is building sustainable opportunities that strengthen families, develop future leaders, and contribute to the long-term economic vitality of the region.
